Founders of Company Awarded ONZMPosted On: Thursday, 30 January 2014
The founders of Prolife Foods, Bernard and Kaye Crosby have been recognised in the 2014 New Year’s Honours with the awarding of Officer of New Zealand Order of Merits (ONZM) recognising their services to business and philanthropy.
Bernie and Kaye both remain active in the business in governance roles but are spending increasing amounts of time on their philanthropic interests with the launch last year of the Neuro Research Charitable Trust, which aims to raise $1 million over five years; and more recently the sponsorship of the Coromandel Rescue Helicopter Hanger at Whitianga. They continue to support cultural, sporting and health-related ventures including the Waikato Magic Netball Team, the MESH Sculpture Trust and Hamilton Gardens, as well as numerous educational and recreational grants to community organisations.
